Naruto Uzumaki is sent on a mission to catch Mukade, a missing ninja. He goes to the once-grand ruins of "Ouran," where he chases and traps Mukade. Mukade's goal turns out to be a dormant leyline in the ruins. He releases the power of the leyline, causing a light to wrap around Naruto and send him back in time 20 years before the series started. When Naruto wakes up, he runs into Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage.
