Night Catches Us
Marcus, an ex-Black Panther who grew up in the turbulent 1960s, returns to his hometown of Philadelphia in 1976 and reconnects with Pat, the widow of a Panther commander. Marcus becomes acquainted with Pat's young daughter and makes an attempt to overcome his demons. Marcus's good intentions are thwarted by the neighborhood's ongoing racial and social problems, as well as old rivals and friends with unfinished business.
