There is nowhere to flee...nowhere to hide. Ashley's reputation is shattered when two teen girls brutally imitate her online in a reverse cyber bullying operation. She and her mother, Julie (a high school teacher), are social outcasts who are forced to flee a mounting threat to their life. They are drawn out of seclusion by the prospect of starting anew in a new town and school, romantic interests, and the tragic lessons taught by Kevin, an eccentric history teacher. When the past comes up with Ashley, she pulls on the principles she gained from Kevin's history lessons, giving her the courage to stand up to the bullies who torment her. Ashley faces her tragic history with the help of her mother and newfound friends, utilizing the identical tools of social media and technology that caused her anguish to reveal lies and communicate the truth.
