No one else is as refined as versatile technologist Nigel and her producer-designate daughter Annie MacIntyre. She allows Prudence McCoy's third-generation show on domestic suggestions to be disrupted. TV station owner Michael Merchant's son, Michael Merchant, has been brought in to help modernize the show with the help of studio executive Jack Jameson, Prue's former boyfriend. There's also a makeover and co-host Angelica Adams, a young presenter of a bikini-only show who idolizes Prue. Her counter-move is no less audacious.
