Persecuted
The evangelist John Luther, who has gained national recognition, stands as the final impediment to widespread religious reform in the United States. Following the abduction and false imprisonment of Luther by a former United States Senator as well as his own supporters, a new period of persecution is unleashed that has never been seen before. Luther, who is free on his own recognizance, is on the run from the police in quest of the truth. An ex-military operative team targets a family's once-normal life, waging a persistent effort to destroy the evidence that could lead to the family's demise, and everything changes. When Luther is forced to flee from his home in order to expose anyone participating in or benefitting from the girl's death, he finds himself face to face with the impending storm of persecution that will threaten the whole Christian community in America.
