Shaymin is first seen in the film before Dialga comes. Giratina then senses Dialga's presence in the Reverse or Distortion World and flies to the Real World to catch him. Dialga drinks as the doorway of Giratina opens. Then, Dialga is dragged into the Reverse World by Giratina. Additionally, Shaymin is propelled into the Reverse World. Zero sees Dialga and Giratina's combat from his ship. Shaymin absorbs a black gas and uses "Seed Flare" to escape the Reverse World by tearing a hole in it. Dialga launches a laser towards Giratina, trapping her within a time loop and the Reverse World. Shaymin falls into a river while Dialga flees.
