In a little village in Lazio, an Italian family known as the "Tucci" lives in poverty. The family consists of a conceited daughter, a clever son, and a condescending mother. Then, out of nowhere, the family receives a check for €100 million. They decide to keep the winning a secret, but as soon as a single word comes out from the mouth of the householder, they have just one choice: go away. They make their way to Milan late at night. If Tuccis' expectations are correct, they will quickly discover that today's rich individuals are considerably different from those of a generation ago, and that being wealthy is a true burden.
