Punk's Dead is a punk romp through the Utah hinterlands, following up on the cult smash SLC Punk from 1999. Young outsiders from different tribes, Ross, Penny, and Crash, embark on a road trip to a massive punk performance. Trish and Heroin Bob had a love child, Ross, who died before Ross was born. Ross rips his darkly Gothic outlook and embraces life while on their trip, with the help of a healthy mix of drugs, drink, and punk music. Trish, who raised Ross alone in her steam punk store, learns that he is in trouble. She enlists the help of his 'uncles,' Bob's former SLC gang, to track him down. When they all meet at the performance, they must confront their unresolved feelings for Bob.
