In the year1939, WBN, the fourth radio network, is set to begin broadcasting across the United States. Penny Henderson, the owner's secretary, has to cope with a dissatisfied sponsor, an overbearing boss, and a soon-to-be ex-husband who is desperate to have her back. This is on top of the chaos that occurred during the premiere night. A strange voice abruptly interrupts the beginning of the broadcast, and shortly after that, members of the cast are found to have died. As the police pursue him through the hallways of WBN, it is up to her husband Roger to figure out who is responsible for this crime.
