An ardent proponent of death-and-dying awareness, Ram Dass is a revered spiritual teacher and pioneer in the field of psychedelics. He also wrote the book Be Here Now. The man had a life-changing stroke twenty years ago. Since then, he has been living on Maui and deepening his spiritual practice, which is about expressing love and becoming one with the world and everything in it.
