In the aftermath of The Death of Superman, the world continues to lament the loss of the Man of Steel after his final struggle with the monster Doomsday. However, no sooner had his body been interred than four new Superman shield-bearers emerged to assume the mantle. The Last Son of Krypton, Superboy, Steel, and the Cyborg Superman all endeavor to fill the void left behind by the world's greatest champion.
