G.T. Benz, a Vietnam veteran and recent widower, struggles with the issues of age and loneliness while being harassed by an aggressive robo-caller. Only a monthly get-together with his old 'Nam pals, ex-fighter pilots like himself, relieves the boredom and frustration in his existence. He eagerly awaits the return of his long-absent daughter, "Tricia," whom he sees as "my only purpose for life." His doctor's dismal prognosis heightens his desire to see her at least one more. However, Tricia, who is uninformed of G.T.'s condition, continues to put off her visit. Meanwhile, a 'Nam buddy dies, and the robocalls intensify. When a deceptive woman from G.T.'s past appears, his life is thrown into disarray, driving him to commit a desperate act.
