Robot & Frank
A funny drama, a buddy movie, and, just for good measure, a heist movie. Old Frank lives by himself because he is a grouch. His daily routine includes going to the library, where he has a soft spot for the librarian. His grown children worry about him and buy him a caretaker robot to keep an eye on him. Frank was at first against the idea, but he soon sees the benefits of having a robot help him, like healthy meals and a clean house, and he starts to treat his robot like a real friend. With the help of his robot, Frank's old illegal job gets him excited again, for better or worse.
