In Verona, there is a lot of animosity between the Montague and Capulet families because of their bad blood. The Capulets' home hosts a masked dance, where Romeo Montague is invited and meets Juliet, their daughter. Despite the antagonism, Romeo Montague is successful in getting an invitation.
