Sacrifice
Tora Hamilton, a specialist surgeon, and her husband, Duncan, relocate to the lonely Shetland Islands, 100 miles off the north-east coast of Scotland, in the film Sacrifice. Tora discovers the body of a young woman with rune symbols cut onto her skin and a gaping hole where her heart once beat deep in the peat soil around her new house. Tora ignores warnings to stay away from the mythology and discovers disturbing connections to a legend that may never have been contained within the pages of a book.
