S.E.R.P.
A bright computer programmer is arrested and held in isolation after the search engine he created answers "yes" to the inquiry "is the government of the United States evil?" Desperate, but conscious of the public's reaction to the answer, the programmer cuts a deal with his interrogators, agreeing to rewrite the software in exchange for his freedom. Both the programmer and his captors' trust and patience are pushed to the test as they strive to figure out why the program answered an ethical dilemma the way it did and figure out how to change its response. S.E.R.P. is a suspenseful and darkly comic film about compulsion, creativity, and whether doing good in the service of evil is conceivable.
