Despite her good looks, Amy falls victim to South Beach's hedonistic way of life when she equates love with money. Amy's relationship with Nick, a down-to-earth, young architect, is wonderful, but she has goals that he can't fulfill and finance. While trying to find fame and fortune through a dancing career, Amy meets Sam, a married guy her own age. Despite Sam's lavish lifestyle, she still feels lonely and unloved despite his constant care. Amy can't bear to part with Sam's financial assistance, so she starts another relationship with Robert, who soon becomes concerned. Amy soon learns that life in South Beach isn't all it appears to be.
