During the early days of World War II, the German battleship Bismarck and heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen broke out of the Baltic Sea. Battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz were the most formidable in Europe during World War II. It is imperative that the British Navy locate and destroy Bismarck before it reaches the convoy lanes and inflicts significant damage on the British Isles' lifeblood shipments of goods and supplies. Even though it had eight 15-inch cannons, none of the Royal Navy's vessels could get close enough to take it down.
