Four Hispanic students create a robotics club with the assistance of their new high school teacher. Despite their inexperience, the youths have set their sights on a national robotics competition. They build a robot with $800 and pieces scavenged from old automobiles and compete against reigning champion MIT. Along the way, the children learn not just how to build a robot, but also something far more valuable: how to form lifelong connections.
