Spellbound
In the course of replacing the outgoing hospital director at a Vermont mental institution, Dr. Constance Peterson, a psychoanalyst, discovers that Dr. Anthony Edwardes is actually an impersonator. The man admits that the real Dr. Edwardes is no longer alive and that he believes he may have murdered him, but he is unable to recall anything. Dr. Peterson, on the other hand, is persuaded that his impersonator is not guilty of the man's murder and accompanies him on a journey to unravel his amnesia through psychoanalysis to prove it.
