Once upon a time, a clumsy 10-year-old boy resided in the Tokyo suburbs. There appeared in front of him Sewashi, Nobita's descendant from four generations later in the 22nd century, and Doraemon, a cat-like caretaker robot from the 22nd century that assists humans with its secret gadgets. Sewashi asserts that his family is burdened by the responsibilities Nobita owes even to his generation; so, he brought Doraemon along as Nobita's guardian to bring happiness to Nobita's future, despite Doraemon's displeasure with the situation. Thus, Sewashi forced Doraemon to take care of Nobita by installing a program requiring him to achieve certain goals. Doraemon cannot return to the 22nd century if he fails to make Nobita happy. Thus begins the lives of Doraemon and Nobita. Will Doraemon complete this quest and return to the year 2200?
