Jamilah has everything planned out in her life. She's the president of her black sorority, captain of their champion step dancing squad, and student liaison to the college dean, with Harvard Law School as her next destination. Isn't it true that she has everything? However, when the school is embarrassed by the hard-partying white girls from Sigma Beta Beta, Jamilah is summoned to help. Her goal is to win the Steptacular, the most competitive dance competition, not simply by teaching the rhythmically challenged girls how to step dance. With the SBB's reputations and charter on the line, and Jamilah's dream of entering Harvard in peril, these misfits and their odd teacher make one funny error after another. As everyone ventures outside their comfort zones, cultures collide, romance blooms, and sisterhood triumphs.
