Superman III
In the third installment of the Superman franchise set in the 1980s, wealthy executive Ross Webster hires the bumbling but brilliant Gus Gorman to develop synthetic kryptonite, which results in some unexpected psychological effects. Webster's goal is to defeat the Man of Steel, and he does so by hiring Gorman. Superman is in a tough spot since he has to choose between rekindling his romance with his high school sweetheart and saving himself from a formidable supercomputer.
