Sweet Micky for President
When renowned music artist Pras Michel of the Fugees returns to his country of Haiti following the tragic earthquake of2010, he mobilizes a presidential campaign for Haiti's most controversial singer, Michel Martelly nicknamed Sweet Micky, the worlds of music and politics come together. Against a compromised government, civil turmoil, and a rigged election, the politically inexperienced couple start out on their journey. With the addition of Pras' old bandmate, superstar Wyclef Jean, as a candidate for president, their odds of winning become even more bleak. The two of them, with the assistance of a few friends, notably actor Ben Stiller and former President Bill Clinton, never lose up on their sincere desire to alter the path of Haiti's future for the better.
