Josh encounters a young woman who falls and is taken to the hospital in an ambulance shortly after. He tracks her down only to discover that there is no record of her being hospitalized, and he soon finds that her roommate, who was also picked up by the same ambulance, has vanished. Despite the police's disapproval, Josh continues his investigation, convinced of a plot.
