The Assassins
Cao Cao (Chow Yun Fat), the Han Dynasty's Prime Minister, travelled east and beat China's best warrior Lu Bu, scaring all ambitious warlords across the country. Cao becomes King of Wei after bringing the Han Emperor under his wing. So powerful that speculations spread that he would replace the Emperor. And young lovers Mu Shun (Hiroshi Tamaki) and Ling Ju (Liu Yi-Fei) spend five harsh years together training as assassins for a secret mission. Astronomical indicators promise tremendous change around 220 BC. Cao's son Cao Pi (Yau Sam-Chi) and Cao's supporters urge Cao to become the new Emperor, but unseen powers conspire against him.
