December 24, 1994 At Algiers airport, four GIA terrorists hijack an Air France A300. The Paris-bound Airbus carries 227 passengers. Nobody knows the terrorists' intentions, only that they are armed and determined. They demand the immediate release of their “brothers in arms”. Negotiations between the French and Algerian administrations took a long time. The story revolves around three main characters: a GIGN member, Carole Jeanton, an ambitious technocrat eager to profit from the events, and Yahia Abdallah, a determined jihadist raised in the slums of Algiers and manipulated by an obscure GIA emissary, Ali Touchent.
