The Big Friendly Behemoth is not your typical bone-crushing giant. He is much too sweet and jovial all the time. It is to Sophie's good fortune that he is. If she had been kidnapped in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler or any of the other giants instead of the BFG, she would have been devoured in a short amount of time and turned into breakfast. After hearing that the giants are going to England to swollomp a few charming little chiddlers, Sophie comes to the conclusion that she has no choice but to put an end to the situation once and for all. And the Big Friendly Giant is going to assist her!
