This sci-fi classic, a drive-in favorite, follows teenagers Steve and Jane as they try to protect their hometown from a gelatinous alien life form that engulfs everything it touches. Steve and Jane, the first to discover the substance and survive to tell the tale, see the blob devour an elderly man and grow to terrifying proportions. But no one else has seen the goo, and police officer Dave refuses to believe the kids in the absence of evidence.
