After a successful run on the vaudeville circuit, Harriet and Queenie Mahoney relocate to Broadway, where their buddy Eddie Kerns requires them for a number in one of Francis Zanfield's productions. Eddie was previously in love with Harriet, but after meeting Queenie, he can't help but fall in love with her as well. Unfortunately for Eddie, Queenie is also being courted by Jock Warriner, a member of New York's high society. In the end, it takes some time for Queenie to realize that she is nothing more than a toy in Jock's eyes, and it also takes some time for Harriet to see that Eddie is head over heels in love with Queenie.
