The Cat and the Canary
Millionaire Cyrus Norman's will will be read out to his six relatives, including Joyce Norman and Wally Campbell, ten years after his death. The six gather in Norman's creepy New Orleans Gothic estate, which is organized by Norman's lawyer, Crosby. The superstitious housekeeper predicts that someone will die before midnight during the reading. When Joyce is proclaimed the sole inheritor, Wally is concerned, but everyone is frightened when Crosby is discovered dead.
