The Cat Concerto
Tom walks on from the left side of the stage wearing a white tie and tails. He sits down at the piano and gets ready to play Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody" while the orchestra warms up in the pit below him. Jerry is sleeping on a few of the high-note keys inside the instrument, which Tom and the audience don't know. Tom's playing eventually wakes him up. Jerry gets hit by hammers, bounced by wires, and squeezed by Tom as the cat tries to play the concerto while getting rid of Jerry. Jerry's defensive moves add to the fun of the show and give Tom a chance to answer with his own clever musical attack. By the end of the concerto, only one animal is left to receive applause from the crowd.
