Tae-su, a detective fighting organized crime, returns to his hometown for the funeral of his high school friend Wang-jae. There, he runs into old friends Pil-ho, Dong-hwan, and Seok-hwan, with whom he reminisces. Tae-su and Seok-hwan, suspecting something fishy about Wang-death, jae's begin their own investigations. Pil-ho is in charge of a land development project as a result of their investigations.
