CW Briggs is a seasoned insurance investigator with a long track record of accomplishment. Betty Ann Fitzgerald is a new employee at the company for which he works, and she has been tasked with the duty of rearranging the workplace. They don't get along with each other - or at least that's what they believe to be true. They go to see Voltan, a magician who surreptitiously hypnotizes both of them while they are out with the rest of the office staff on a night out together.
