There is now undeniable evidence that there is an afterlife in the not too distant future as a result of a ground-breaking scientific discovery made by Dr. Thomas Harbor. While a large number of people have taken their own lives in an effort to start over, others are trying to make sense of what it all means. Will Harbor, the son of Dr. Harbor, is one of them. He came to his father's estate in the middle of nowhere with a young woman he calls Isla, who is shrouded in mystery. They find some bizarre acolytes who assist Dr. Harbor with his experiments and they learn more about them there.
