The Gendarme Takes Off
Cruchot's police station's entire clique has retired. He currently resides at his wealthy wife's castle with them and is utterly bored. He quarrels with the butler because he isn't even permitted to perform the most basic tasks. But when one of the group experiences amnesia due to an accident, the others band together to kidnap him and take him on a tour of their former workplaces and personal recollections. They flip St. Tropez on its head while wearing their old clothes.
