Hugo Sennart, a French Gypsy, is a wanted suspect in connection with a theft. The same investigator who is seeking for him is also looking for a jewel thief by the name of Yan Kuq, whose wife passed away under mysterious circumstances not long after a significant break-in. The Gypsy needs to settle a few scores and pull off one more theft before retiring underground, and it just so happens that his path puts him near to Yan, who is concealing himself in the hotel owned by Ninie, a close friend and a former lover of his. The Gypsy adheres to a strict code of honor, even though this puts him in danger on occasion; he despises those who treat his people as if they were lower than dogs, and he is willing to lay his life on the line to defend it. The authorities are drawing closer. Do dishonest people have any sense of honor?
