Southerner Augusta comes face to face with two renegade, inebriated soldiers who are on a mission of pillage and bloodshed during the conclusion of the Civil War in this radically remade American Western. When Augusta is able to flee an attempted assailant, she heads back to the lonely farmhouse where she lives with her sister Louise and their female slave Mad. In order to ward off their assailants, the trio of ladies is forced to take up weaponry in order to defend their home––and themselves––as the attacks become more unpredictable and vicious.
