A group of people taking a train to England are held up because of an avalanche. Iris and Miss Froy become friends while they are both stuck in a hotel in a made-up European country. When the train starts moving again, Iris falls asleep and wakes up to find that the old woman has gone. The other passengers ominously deny that Miss Froy ever existed, so Iris and another traveler start to look into it. As they look into it, romantic sparks fly between them.
