Having spent years performing "exorcisms" and collecting money from believers, Reverend Marcus decides to travel to rural Louisiana with a film crew in order to refute what he believes is a misconception about demonic possession and possession by demons. However, instead of finding himself on the blood-soaked farm of the Sweetzer family and confronting actual evil, the dynamic reverend finds himself confronted with a religious zealot who has become deranged and needs to be "exorcized."
