The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp
In 1943, General Candy is in charge of an English squad. He is an experienced leader, but the men he is training don't respect him, and they think he doesn't know what it takes to win the war. But things weren't always like this. In flashbacks to his early years in the Boer War and World War I, we see a handsome young officer whose life was changed by three different women and a lasting friendship with a German soldier.
