The Little Prince

This magical musical fable is based on the story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It starts when a pilot (Richard Kiley) makes an emergency landing in the desert of the Sahara. In the planet Asteroid B-612, he is friends with a "little" prince who lives there. As time goes on, he finds out about the young man and his trips around the world, which included meeting the King, the businessman, the historian, and even a general on the way. The Little Prince doesn't learn about the value of life until he comes to Earth. He learns from a Fox (Gene Wilder), a Snake (Bob Fosse), and a pilot about how important it is.
