Zero (Wagner Moura) is a talented scientist, but he is unfortunate in that he was publicly humiliated and lost Helena (Alinne Moraes), the love of his life, when he was in college 20 years earlier. When one of his inventions causes him to have an unexpected encounter with it, he finds himself transported back in time, or more specifically, to the past.
