The Midnight Snack
Jerry has taken a large wedge of cheese from the refrigerator. Tom is in a playful mood, so he stacks the cheese with dishes, constructs a set of bread-slice steps, and finishes them with a rolling pin. Jerry, of course, crashes. Jerry replaces the cheese in its original position. In the process, Tom dunks his paw in a dish of jelly and decides to plunder the refrigerator, ironing Jerry's tail. Tom burys Jerry in creampuff cream after some munching. However, he also tosses the cheese slice into the china cabinet, prompting Mammy to chastise him. Tom stuffs Jerry into the fridge and dashes to the next room, looking for a scapegoat. Tom chases Jerry after Mammy shouts, but the chase ends with Tom stuck in the ironing board. Jerry uses a fork to carefully direct Tom inside the refrigerator, where Mammy thrashes him as Jerry eats cheese.
