Cameron, a teenager, is sent to a gay conversion therapy center in 1993 after getting caught with another girl in the back seat of a car on prom night. The center is run by the strict and strict Dr. Lydia Marsh and her brother, Reverend Rick. It is based on the idea of repenting for "same-sex attraction." Cameron meets a group of other sinners, like the amputee stoner Jane and her friend, the Lakota Two-Spirit Adam. As they try to stay alive, this group of teenagers comes together to form an unlikely family.
