When ambitious horror filmmakers advertise an online casting call for "real life" monsters to interview for their upcoming documentary, The Monster Project, they come across three persons claiming to be skinwalkers, vampires, and demons. The filmmakers allow the three interviewees to discuss their unsettling, intimate experiences after meeting them at an isolated estate in the woods on the night of a total lunar eclipse. A recovering drug addict who suffers from withdrawal and paranoia is employed on the crew. As a believer, he fears that his friends underestimate the dark forces they are conjuring. When the interviews become lethal, he is forced to battle demons both within and outside the house in order to escape and vanquish the incarnation of evil.
