Doctor on call at night is Mikael. It's a career. He provides care for people no one else wants to see, such as drug addicts and the homeless, between two patient visits in slum neighborhoods. He socializes with the homeless. His life is a complete mess. Particularly when it comes to his cousin who works as a pharmacist and forces him to create phony Subutex prescriptions.
