The Painter and the Thief

When two of artist Barbora Kysilkova's most precious paintings are stolen from a gallery in Oslo, the police find the thief but not the paintings. After the trial, Barbora asks the thief for permission to paint him. This is the beginning of an uncommon friendship. The three-year film follows an artist searching for her stolen artworks while also turning the burglar into art.
