The movie revolves around the ventures of an investigator company in Hong Kong called Mannix Private Detective Firm. It is headed by private detective Wong Yeuk Sze (Michael Hui) with his emotionally drained aide Puffy (Ricky Hui). Meanwhile, Lee Kwok Package (Samuel Hui), a martial art expert, that operates at a Vitasoy plant manufacturing facility and also spends most of the time doing kung fu tricks to impress a girl, eventually loses his work. Seeking to discover another profession, Lee attempts to signs up with Wong's investigator company.
