Famous swordsman Li has lost all of his loved ones due to his radical views. After a rival swordsman saves Li's life, he abandons the woman he loves so she can marry his savior due to his overpowering pride. Li's sole solace is drink and the simple lifestyle he has adopted. On one of these journeys, the lone swordsman encounters the incredibly skilled, though reclusive Fei, who has his own challenges to face.
